DIABETES SELF-MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP
6 Week Session, Mondays,
Sept. 18 – Oct. 30 • 9:30–12 pm
The Diabetes Self-Management Program developed by Stanford University is a participant education program for people with diabetes. Family members, caregivers or friends may also attend. Discussion about techniques to deal with symptoms of diabetes, appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength and endurance, healthy eating, appropriate use of medication, and working more effectively with health care providers.
